Custom Moonshine Stills for Luke Comb's New Bar Category 10 in Nashville Tennessee

Updated: Dec 24, 2024

As many are aware, I was commissioned to build several custom pieces for Luke Combs' new bar, Category 10, in Nashville, Tennessee, this year. It was a challenging project that turned out outstanding. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the grand opening due to recovering from surgery, so I haven't seen the finished installation since the venue opened. We hope to make the trip to check it out in person before long. Here are some pictures from the project.

Here is a great look at the Venue

Go check out this tour of Category 10 Luke Combs new Venue in Nashville!!! It has a good bit of footage of the stills and copper work I did for Luke!

Phase 1 - 190 ' of 8" Pipe fabricated from Sheet Copper. Each Piece was Cut to Size, Rolled and Soldered and Riveted. I also fabricated 28 Joint pieces to seamlessly join sections together. They were then picked up by Cabeen Originals to b patinaed prior to installation.

Phase 2 - Main Floor Moonshine Still, for this phase I fabricated a 250 Custom Moonshine Still with Custom Cap and a 120 Gallon Shotgun Condenser and two Identical 120 Gallon Moonshine Stills for the 2nd floor Bar. Each Piece was Cut to Size, Rolled and Soldered and Riveted. Once Phase 2 was completed they were picked up by Cabeen Originals to b patinaed prior to installation.

Phase 3 - Cabeen Originals completed the installation of the Main Floor Moonshine Still, 2nd Floor Moonshine Stills and all of the fabricated pipe. Here are a few Pictures that were taken during the installation.

Finaly here are few pictures of the completed installation prior to the Grand Opening.

I will add additional Pictures once I visit Cat 10 now that its open!
